A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH.
It’s all part of his sick game. A game he’s been planning for an entire decade. Now everything is perfect: One woman and one man have been selected. They used to be a couple—and they can no longer stand one another. They are the perfect victims. He doesn’t intend for the game to be easy. He wants to push them to the brink of insanity, to make his hunt real. . .
A DESIRE WORTH FIGHTING FOR. . .

The couple has been captured and dumped into a massive wooded area. There’s only one rule in this fatal game: They will have 72 hours to find a way out before the sadistic serial killer begins his hunt . . .But what he never could have expected was the explosive passion that ignites between the two ex-lovers—one that makes them strong. Fierce. And determined to do whatever it takes to escape—and to survive. . .
72 Hours by Bella Jewel is a sexy, page-turning thrill ride!

⭐⭐⭐ 3.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐

I’m a huge fan of mystery and suspense so when I saw this, I knew I had to read it ASAP because the adrenaline junkie in me was screaming at the top of it’s lungs. This was a fast paced, watch your back at all times, kind of read and I liked the fact that it was done that way.

When you’re being hunted, how far will you go to survive?

Lara has been through a lot the past three months. Coming off of a heartbreaking breakup and trying to move on with her life, Lara is starting to feel good about herself now. That is until she sees her ex again and learns he’s going to be moving closer to her. They say time heals everything but Lara and Noah, what happens time becomes the least of your worries?

Being kidnapped by a psychopath that revels in the chase of a hunt is now a shocking reality for Noah and Lara. Forced to play his sick game in the middle of nowhere for 72 hours, has become a nightmare for them and knowing that they can’t wake up from this only makes matters worse. Deciding that they’re going to find until the very end, Noah and Lara begin their journey of the survival of the fittest.

Who’s going to come out of alive?

What I really liked about this story was that the storyline was so different and I appreciated that. The chase and suspense is what kept me interested for the most part of the story and for me Noah was the highlight of this book. What I didn’t really like was the fact that Lara came across as this weak heroine. I had a really hard time trying to connect with her and for that alone, it took away some of my enjoyment of the story.

Aside from that, I think if you like a bit of mystery to your reads, this one is for you guys.
