Release Blitz + Review: Not Yours To Want by Kimberly Knight

    October 3, 2026

From USA Today bestselling author Kimberly Knight comes a high-spice, father’s-best-friend age-gap

romance about crossing the line with the one man she knows she shouldn’t want.

The last person Blair Hart expects to run into at a members-only sex club in Beverly Hills is her father’s

    best friend.

She’s only in Los Angeles for a work conference, and after catching her boyfriend cheating, one night

of no-strings-attached fun sounds like exactly what she needs. Until she walks into Sensation and

    comes face-to-face with Dane Kincaid.

He’s older, tempting, and completely off-limits, and he knows better than to see Blair as anything more

than his best friend’s daughter. But the woman standing in front of him isn’t the girl he remembers, and

once they cross the line, one night in his private room is supposed to be where it ends.

Instead, Blair returns to New York with Dane still on her mind—and it isn’t long before dirty texts turn

into late-night calls, and the secret they left behind in LA follows them across the country.

When Blair receives an offer she’d be foolish to refuse, it’s a career-changing position at the

construction company owned by her father and Dane.

Moving home means being closer to her family, stepping into the job she’s worked years for … and

leaving three thousand miles of safe distance between her and Dane in the past.

They already know what happens when they’re alone together. What neither of them knows is how long

they can keep their secret after Blair returns to California.

Because she was never Dane’s to want, but knowing that hasn’t done a damn thing to stop either of

    them.

Not Yours to Want is a high-spice, dad’s-best-friend age-gap forbidden romance novella featuring a

one-night stand that turns into something more, an older man/younger woman pairing, a secret

relationship, and a very exclusive sex club.

Is it hot in here????? What's better than a forbidden romance that includes a dad's best friend. I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on this read and I'm so glad that I did because the attraction levels on this? Burned the pages!

It's been seven years since Blair has seen her father's best friend face to face and let's just say that time has served him well. After visiting her parents for the weekend, she decides to have some fun with her best friend at an exclusive sex club. But Blair never expected to run into the one man that she's known her entire life.

    One night.
    No strings attached.
That was the deal that Dean Kinkaid made with Blair when she approached him and that was all it took. What started off as a hot and steamy night, ended up being so much more than either of them could have imagined. But what happens when their forbidden world quickly collides with their reality?

I really enjoyed this one and I loved that it was a quick read with an actual storyline. The main characters had intense chemistry and they spent time together building their relationship. Dane was sweet and you saw that he really cared about Blair and I loved that. If you're looking for a steamy quick forbidden romance, I highly recommend you read this one.
