She hates him and his big head. He likes her and her big t*ts. She hates him because she somehow ends up naked every time she sees him. He likes her because she somehow ends up naked every time he sees her. She hates him because the big oaf knocked her up with his kid. He likes her because she’s carrying his child. She hates the way he gets inside her head. He likes the way she lets him see glimpses of her heart. Andie: I hate you. Roman: I know…but I’m going to change that. ***This is book two in the series. It is best if you read book one first to fully understand this couple’s story.***

Hate 2 Lovers by K. Webster is the second book in the 2 Lovers series by K. Webster and J. D. Hollyfield. K. Webster is one of my favorite authors, but I have never read anything by J. D. Hollyfield before this. I’m going to have to change that, because I love her writing style. The story is told in dual point of view, and each author writes from the perspective of one of the main characters. I could tell which part K. Webster wrote, but if I wasn’t borderline obsessed with her, I probably wouldn’t have known. Haha! In my opinion, these two authors pair together perfectly.

I wasn’t able to read the first book in the series before I read this one, but I will definitely be going back and reading it now. I would recommend that anyone that wants to read this read Text 2 Lovers first. Yes, I was still able to enjoy this story, but I felt like I would have enjoyed it even more had I read the previous installment.

Andie and Roman start out as fuck buddies. Andie claims not to be able to stand Roman otherwise, and her favorite words to him seem to be, “I hate you.” Their relationship was just supposed to be purely physical, but then, something happens that changes everything. Andie gets pregnant with Roman’s baby. How will this affect their relationship? Will they be able to have something more than a physical arrangement when they can barely have conversation that doesn’t turn into a fight?

First, I want to be completely honest and say that when I first started reading this book, I thought I wasn’t going to like it. The reason being is the heroine drove me nuts. She was completely over the top irrational, and she behaved like a child the majority of the time. The fact that she physically assaults the hero repeatedly just made things worse. Usually if I dislike the heroine, I can’t enjoy the story. Luckily, that wasn’t the case here. Andie has insecurities brought on by her absentee father that explain why she is the way she is. I don’t think that completely excuses her behavior, but it allowed me to understand her better. I felt for her which made me not want to drop kick her as much. When she allowed herself to be vulnerable, it was a beautiful thing, and it helped show just how much she actually cared for Roman.

Roman is an amazing hero, and Andie is incredibly lucky to have him. She is totally batshit most of the time, but he loves her anyway. The man has the patience of a saint as far as I’m concerned. He deserves an award for putting up with her with her ass! What made me really fall in love with Roman though was the way he reacted to being a father. He traded in a car he loved to get something that would be better for Andie and the baby as soon as he heard the news. Then, he starts buying everything the baby or Andie might need in existence, and educates himself by reading as much as he can about pregnancy and babies. I swooned over this man more than a time or two! His devotion to his child and making Andie feel secure in their relationship was truly touching.

Hate 2 Lovers is a well written, sexy, and entertaining read! The romance is passionate and sweet. The characters have great banter and sexual chemistry, and the story is funny and heartwarming. (The scene where Andie goes into labor had me laughing out loud!) I can’t wait for the next book! Andie’s brother, Linc, intrigues me, and I am dying to find out more about him! If you are looking for something that will make you laugh and touch your heart, this one is for you!

Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger? It’s the start of everything right. I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong. And she made me laugh again. Her: You’re probably a creeper. Her: Possibly a stalker. Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine? Him: Take a chance with me. Her: This is crazy. Him: I need to see you. Her: What are we doing? Him: We’re about to find out. Her: PHOTO ATTACHED Him: PHOTO ATTACHED
