Blog Tour: Road to Nowhere by M.Robinson

December 21, 2016

I once read that every warrior hoped an honorable death would find him. I always went looking for mine, but not even the Reaper wanted me.
I was trained to kill. I was trained to not ask why. To take orders and just march in line. Hooah motherfucker.
Life or death.
Ride or die.
And I’m not only talking about the military. I’m talking about the life that led me on the road to nowhere.
My life.
I fought for my brothers.
I fought for my family.
I fought for my country.
And I fought for her…

Never realizing I might die for them too.

“She came into my life like a Fucking hurricane, destroying everything in her path. A girl from the right side of the tracks,….. Falling for a man like me.”

I have been not so patiently waiting for Creed and Mia’s story and I knew that Monica was going to give me an angst filled, crazy twisted story that would leave me begging for more. Whatever you think is going to happen in this book, whether it’s your gut feeling or that little voice in your head that’s saying “I know already!. Do me a favor and tell that voice to shut the fuck up because it doesn’t know.

I felt like someone put me on a roller-coaster ride without my permission and at the end of it, that very same person oh so slowly turns me around and tells me we’re just getting started. Do you run or just sit back and enjoy the crazy ride? I’ll tell you what I did, and it didn’t involve running track because lucky for me, I’m a fan of crazy.

Creed Jameson was born into the MC. Knowing the club rules before he made it to the double digits, he knew it was only a matter of time before those same rules will be applying to him as well. Always having to follow his old man’s orders, Creed knows that being a part of the club life is only going to get harder and as he moves up in the ranks, so does his body count.

“Patience was never one of my fucking virtues. It was a Jameson trait that ran deep in my blood. I determined the who, what, when, and where in life. Anyone who didn’t approve could go fuck themselves.”

Mia Ryder has always been a little spitfire. From beating all of the boys in surfing, to voicing her own opinion about everything, to say she’s one of a kind is an understatement. Falling for a tattooed biker at nine years old and knowing without a doubt that he’s going to change your life, has Mia wishing she was already an adult. But some things can’t be helped and Creed and Mia’s journey was filled with heartache, loss, and a timeless romance years in the making.

I’ve always admired how this author could make the timeline in her stories feel so efficient and the way she’s always managed to make the characters childhood such a pivotal point in time. Her execution was flawless and I loved knowing how these characters felt at such a young age. Even though I didn’t agree with everything, I understood their reason. Creed was an intense hero and seeing his interactions with Mia and how she brought out a completely different side to him, had me wanting to stay in their bubble just a little bit longer.

Want to know how this story ends and if Creed and Mia get their happily ever after? Read the book because I’m not telling you!

No words can express how this book is articulately and excellently written. Hands down to Monica Robinson as this book is not just beautiful and addictive but brilliantly portrayed I have no words to describe as I finished the book except EPIC AND MASTERPIECE!

If you'll gonna ask me what's my best book hangover this year, I will definitely say Road To Nowhere. Everything from start to finish is just hooked and engrossed worthy. I haven't slept for a night because I really cannot put the book down literally. My mind was racing, I have been gutted even at at few first pages of the book and my emotions are just ALL OVER THE PLACE. There's no denying I have anticipated this book highly, I even prepared stack of Kleenex, a wine and even chocolates but still nothing prepared me for what I read. This is roller coaster ride of emotions to the next level. And to be honest, this book made me changed my emotion as quick as a speed of light. See? As a reader, I feel like I'm some sort of someone with emotional disorder to the nth level. I was so insanely just captivated with it that even a slight change of scene or emotion, my emotions too quicklychanged.Evident/proof alone how Monica's writing can affect her readers. And I'm loving it. Love me or hate me but everything I must say is LOVE worthy.

Set in an MC world, I have appreciated that right from the beginning we are already exposed to the dirty and gritty side of that lifestyle. Knowing Creed set to follow his father's footsteps just heightened my interest in the book. And then BOOM! A tragic scene was introduced and I was like, I forgot to place "a thick cover" for my reader because that certain point already made me sob so hard and devastated me. I was pained all over and the angst is just too much. It was so raw portraying the fear and tragedy at the same time. But it kept me going. Talk about glutton for punishment and that's me in Monica Robinson's torturous and evil way of a writing a book with a scene so powerful and raw. And then, entered young Mia that really stole my heart. I was so in awe with her character and I love her stat the moment she was introduced. I love her courage and her sassy character. Call me crazy but right at the very moment I am looking forward to more of her interactions with Creed. Oh Creed..the man I was rooting for. The broken man I was loving so dearly. It pained me and hurt me so much of what he went through. More than anybody else, he's more worthy to fall in love and to feel loved. This broken yet bad-ass biker with a dirty talking mouth just OWNED me BODY and SOUL.Call me sick but I love a forbidden love affair. And what a forbidden love story was Creed and Mia's journey. It maybe wrong to think about it but My God there was nothing wrong to it. The way it was written will just suck you right into the story and will make you loving whatever taboo and forbidden scenes Monica will deliver to you.

And I did. I was loving it too much that it became a part of me. I love the delicious and forbidden way it was delivered. I even love more the fact that my anticipation was built up with every words and lines delivered. Gah! The angst and the feels of this story will burn you. It was just too much but perfect in a way you are wanting for more. I can't really imagine what I went through reading Road To Nowhere. It was killing me slowly and I love the slow burn feel I was experiencing while reading it. The twists and the turns of the events kept me in the edge. Above all, I love how this book really made me feel.It was so raw, powerful, intense. Gah! It was EVERYTHING!

Now go, stop what you are doing . Grab your copies and take a ride with Creed and Mia. I'm telling you, you'll not gonna regret it. It was so great of a book and in true Monica's fashion, she'll deliver you the most ass-hole hero you do not know you'll love or hate but will love anyway and a heroine so fun and courageous. More than that, she will deliver you a story that you will never forget and make you feel all emotions known to man. You will laugh now, cry the next, feel so turned on the second and then to angry and screaming and crying again to swooning and then back to turned on panties is never an option. Just prepare yourself though, but then forget about it because nothing will prepare you with Road To Nowhere.

In my case, It Fuckin' ruined me and I will not want it any other way.
