This book caught my interest first because of the title, I was like 'Oh?seriously???' because what the hell right? It's kinda amusing and interesting at the same time will definitely rouse the curiosity of any readers. Amusing enough for me but then I must say I enjoyed reading the book. The content is good and do not focus mostly on the sex scenes which I would say hot and steamy by the way, but definitely focuses also on coping up and facing whatever the consequences of their baggage. And next because of the style of writing. I like the diary-ish way the author introduced us about Lacey and her way/ journey of self discovery to coping up with her flaws and then finally to reaching the road on pursuing her dreams. Overall, I must say, good job to the author, my only complain though is I wanted more. I know it's a novella but I was left hanging still there are parts that maybe rushed to the extent that I have to guess but then even then i could say I love reading this book.

Boyd is your typical tattoo model who has gotten a bit of a BIG head from all the attention from his fans. And then there’s Kailee who is an author who writes under a pen name and when they meet for the first time she’s talked into doing a cover shoot with him. And she intrigues Boyd more than anything. But after their one night he knows it’ll never work and pushes her away. Only to run into her a year later and once he finds out what’s happened he becomes the biggest asshole ever. The book follows their first year of marriage and how it’s not always the answer. And even if you do learn to love one another it may be too late to actually work. And throughout the book you’ll see Boyd grow out of his “I’m a model” ego and into “I’m Boyd...just a regular guy”.

Wait!What???That's what I first thought when I started reading this book. My jaw dropped with those lines..I took a pause..and then shouted "What have I gotten myself into this time?" What the hell???
The story started off with Lady Lily Rouge travelling in a carriage as an arranged bride to the elderly Marquis d'Evreux - the rich thrice widowed marquis but was then stranded in the Enchanted Forest rumored to be populated by loup-garou and le gobelin. In search for an escape there she met the biggest, blackest wolf with a mesmerizing eyes the color of a robin's egg staring down at her - Sir Marrok Ulfang, who was in need of a virgin to remove the centuries old curse, that shifted his shape from man to wolf each night.
So anyway, The Woodsman by Belle Scarlett is a short story that will definitely wake your inner kiddie fairytale moments. No kidding, I myself really enjoyed reading the book because it is really entertaining despite the fact that I was stunned with shock and surprise at first...because hell!! I am not used to this kind of book at this point in my life. But make no mistake, I loved reading the book thus I finished it with no regrets. I guess the modern fairytale plot coupled with hot steamy sex did it for me. ;) More than that, it was excellently written with full vivid description that will help you imagine more as if you were there in the Enchanted Forest. The fun..the excitement and that magical feeling is there. And of course that villain!! Anyway, as fairytale as it is, this book depicts HEA exists!
