Phoebe Alexander really did not disappoint her readers. With this book, wow! Nothing really compares. I did not know what's in store for me as I started reading this. Yeah, sure I have read one of her books but this one exceeds my expectations . This is more than what I thought it would be, the plot is very excellent and was written flawlessly. Damn! every scene is worth your time.
So, Mountains Trilogy follows the story of Dr. Sarah Lynde, a sociology professor, a single mother of two, a sexual adventurer who opts to have an open relationship than commit monogamy. She doesn't do relationships until Army First Sergeant James McAllister, an ROTC instructor who caught her attention, the quintessential All American, clean-cut Army Guy her G.I Joe... the mountain she can't resist climbing despite their differences. They started off as friends with benefits but later on realized that their chemistry and feelings is more than what they wanted it to be. Several mountains have kept their relationship at bay, trials and heartaches hindered but in the end decided if love is enough to climb the mountains that separates them. When finally, they thought everything's in line, comes another trials and obstacles. Their mountain climbing days has only just begun....
This book is really awesome! My god!! some scenes were definitely disturbing and out of this world but hell!!! It was very unique!!!No one would definitely notice how unlikely it is because the author have written incredibly that every lines became worth grasping. I was actually hooked right from the start and I wanted to delve more deeper into it. When I thought I knew what would likely happen then comes another twist of the story. Mind you, this story is more than erotic..in fact EROTIC is an understatement when you finally read this book.... but very EDUCATIONAL and WORTH READING!!! Hell!! I am not bisexual...I'm not into polyamory and I'm not pansexual either but this book will definitely let you open your heart and mind to different things. This book will also let you understand more the people around you. On the positive side too, this book will teach you honesty and open mindedness not just into your relationship or lifestyle preference but into your family as well. I am so glad I stumbled upon this book, because this is more than what I wanted to read. This book actually pushes me to my limits. I never thought about this book as an erotic one because of the sex scenes and all (because well every scenes is so hot and very arousing..trust me..) but because behind all of those... lies a great story that will touch you deep...feel you wanted and needed... feel you loved... and characters that will definitely gave you another version of roller coaster ride of emotions.

I had a serious love/hate relationship with this book, my blood pressure was not in the best place while reading this one. Was it good? Sure. Did I want to strangle certain characters and just give up? Absofrigginlutely.
Raina O'Conner is in a dire situation. Being kicked out of her previous home from a bitchy roomate,she's in desperate need for a new place to stay. Comming across a an ad for a roomate,she decides to to go and check it out but the problem is that the person is asking for a male who is friendly, likes to party and would be his wingman. She is NONE of those things so what's a girl to do when she's desperate? You beg and make promises you know you can't keep.
"I need a room. If you need a wingman, I'll be your wingman. If you puke, I'll put the seat up. And if you're bagging someone on the couch, I'll put my headphones in and pretend it's the bass from Katy Perry's latest hit."
Kent Nicholson is a egotistical stand up douche. He doesn't care about anything other than getting laid,drinking,getting laid,getting laid aaaand getting laid.How a certain part of his anatomy hasn't fell off yet is way beyond my comprehension.He wasn't always that way but after a heartbreaking incident, he decided to be the king of all a*sholes. After giving Raina a chance to be his new roomate,he finally got his wingwoman.
But what happens when feelings get involved?

I really liked the premise of this story and I found the begining highly entertaining. Raina was good heroine and the secondary characters were very intriguing. What I didn't like was Kent. He gave me so many whiplash I didn't know whether to stop reading or just come up with a way to kill off his character(in my head of course). I love a good angst in my story but he really took it to another level and I just wasn't in love with his character.
Aside from that,I loved the other characters.They each brought their own signature style to the story and they made certain parts more bearable. I would recommend this to those who love a a redeeming manwhore with funny side of funny characters.

Some of the work in progress of ‘Motherfu*ker’ by Mandy Dowson. Whoa! Dirty and hot! You can guess some of the content….
-What's the most influential book you've ever read?
The Magic Cottage by James Herbert. It changed my view of writing, up until then I had been reading Enid Blyton. When I read The Magic Cottage, it’s dark content blew me away.

-What inspired you to start writing?
Feeling unhappy and frustrated as a child. Writing helped get rid of emotional baggage.
-What's your favorite genre to write and/or read?
Ohhh I love thrillers with a little edge of paranormal, my favourite series ever is the author John Connolly’s Charlie Parker series. I re-read it all the time, the writing is just so sharp, witty and heartbreakingly good. To write, it has to be romantic anything with a side of comedy.
-Do you plan or go with the flow when it comes to writing?
I completely go with the flow, to my own detriment. I really should plan more. I am a hopeless slob in all aspects of my life. Writing is no different. I write in scenes. I write a scene and then gel it to another and write the fluff around it all.
-Tease us! What are you currently working on? What can readers expect from your next book and/or future works?
I’m working on Trig (The Gods of Wrath Book 2) at the moment, it will be out in April 2016. It’s the second book in a romantic suspense series set in Boston. It’s about a group of retired Navy SEALs and the women who tame them.
I’m also working on an M/M, F/F and M/F/M series about a Dublin tattoo shop run by a handful of gay and lesbian friends. I’m writing it for a publishing company, it’s a six book series. I’d love to tell you more but…shushhh…I’ve already said too much!! The first book will be out in autumn 2016. I’m also hoping to get a novel called El Diablo finished in 2016. I’ve been working on it for ages, it is my personal Mount Everest. I will complete it…I will complete it……
