Who is Samantha Brooks without her violin? Fear lives in the silent spaces. Love does, too. There's a battle being waged in her heart, and Liam North is determined to win. He'll use every weapon in his arsenal. His body. His heart. Except the spotlight puts her in the crosshairs of dangerous men.
Samantha fights to compose her own ending, even as the final notes rise to a heartbreaking crescendo.
SONATA is the third and final book in the explosive trilogy with Samantha Brooks and Liam North. It should be read after OVERTURE and CONCERTO.

Sonato is the epic conclusion that we were all waiting for and I think that I can speak for everyone when I say that we wanted all out showdown, steamy scenes, and a beautiful happily ever after because Liam and Samantha deserved it.

Picking up right where Concerto left off, Liam and Samantha now have to face the fact that their lives are now different. Constantly on the move and now looking over their shoulder with a looming threat, life as it was before will never be the same until they find the person who is after Samantha. Liam has made it his life’s mission to protect the woman who became more than family to him in the past few years. Never expecting to fall in love and have a future with her, Liam knows that it’s too late to deny anything and if it takes his last breath, he will find the person responsible for the threat.

From the moment I read Overture, I was hook lined and sinker with these characters and I desperately craved their next movements. Samantha and Liam had this explosive chemistry that you felt deep down despite both of them trying to avoid it. I loved their moments together and I liked the fact that Liam always tried to put her first. Things weren’t always easy when it came to these two but I admired the struggle and the effort that it took because at the end, it made them much stronger.

The only issue that I had with this one was that I was disappointed when it came down to what was supposed to be a showdown. Towards the end felt a bit rushed to me and I don’t know if I was just being greedy, but I wanted more!! Everything happened too quickly for my liking and I wanted to have a moment to savor it some more and just bask in the present but I didn’t. aside from that, I think that this is a series that everyone needs to have on their tbr and indulge in the forbidden because it’s sexy, hypnotic and with a dash of suspense, you can’t go wrong.
