Synopsis: Callum Welsh perfected the art of hating me when we were two kids who believed we’d be forced into marriage.
He thought I wanted it, but my only wish had been for him to leave me alone.
Then one afternoon, he stole my first kiss.
Despite all he’d done, everything changed after that.
As the years passed, our hearts thawed, and he no longer hated me.
In fact, he loved me enough to make me his wife.
Until I ruined everything with one stupid mistake.
That hatred returned in the form of cruel words and even crueler deeds.
But we weren’t kids anymore.
I could handle his brand of venom.
He would be mine again, even if it cost me the remains of my heart.
Warning: contains cheating and an anti-hero who might make you throw your kindle.

Even after they’d torn your heart to shreds and used it as a weapon against you, you could still love that same person with a ferocity that bordered on magic. And maybe that was the crux of it. Love was magic. Capable of making you believe the impossible was always possible.”

Oh God! This book could be the death of me. It was ENTHRALLING and INCREDIBLE rolled into one. The masochist in me, the complete glutton for punishment was in heaven because Pretty Venom was no joke. Aside from the angst and sexual tension that will likely combust you in a whole new level, this book sure shred my heart into bits of pieces tugging my heartstrings one by one while testing my sanity and pushing me to my limits.

Callum and Renee's tale was UNPUTDOWNABLE. With the hype going on from early reviews and rants from early readers, I was like a mad woman read-dashing this tale of fuck-ups! And let me tell you - This is the bestest fuck up one could ever love to read. I love it with all my heart sans reader that almost went off the wall and rage from my deepest core. I was in heaven and hell reading their journey but I don't want it any other way. The portrayal of enemies to friends to lovers to enemies to whatever the fuck you want to call it relationship, was just perfect. Flawed but so perfect much like the character's. God! They were the most imperfect and flawed MC's but I could not love them. In fact what I felt for them was peppered with rage, tears and hope with all those love hate relationship I got to develop all throughout the journey. It was one crazy wild ride but it showcased Ella Fields' brilliancy. She did not hold back with Callum and so with Renee. One might think it was insanity at it's finest, others wouldn't approve of it but look deeper and closely,  feel the love that emanates from young love that fucked up wholeheartedly and you will understand. You will accept the fact, that despite how many times you'll screw up, acceptance, forgiveness, hope and trust will bring back that magic of love. And it was heartachingly beautiful but beautiful nonetheless.

Overall, I will highly recommend Pretty Venom. It wasn't your conventional love story. In fact it will definitely make you curse and raise hell. Aside from Ella stomping your heart, you will experience emotions you never expected. The HEART and HEAT of this story is equally encompassing and regardless of the hate I surely know will develop as you go along with this journey, it is WORTH reading. Everything will hook you up you'll forget the time passed but not the lingering emotions this book will give you. It will be etched in your system. It will even turn your world upside down.

"You could love someone until your final breath, but unless you could trust them, love wouldn't let you keep them."
