Now Emmett has to convince Alyssa to date him for the sake of his image. Her curvy, cute and “normal” persona is just the ticket to smoothing out his reputation, while Emmett provides Alyssa with the excitement and change her life has been lacking.

Emmet Hill has had his fair share of bad publicity. Going from Broadway shows in London to a now superhero TV show, this actor has done a lot in his thirty-eight years. Well except for staying out of trouble that is. Being told to tone it down on numerous occasions, Emmet knows that if he doesn’t do what he’s told, his public image is only going to get worse.
While attending his best friend’s wedding, Emmet meets and falls for the tempting Alyssa Martin. But what happens when the sexy vixen isn’t interested in becoming another one of his tabloids stories and refuses him after their one night stand? You draw up a contract. Hey, this is the celebrity life we’re talking about here and what’s crazy for us, is a walk in the park for them.

Working for a successful company but not feeling challenged enough, Alyssa Martin is at a crossroads in her life. Don’t get her wrong, she likes what she does and she she’s developed some long lasting friendships with her Co-workers, but there’s something missing in her life. Seeing the Hollywood badboy up close and personal is nothing for her but having a one night stand and later being propositioned? Well that’s a first and being challenged in the workplace is about to be the least of her problems. Can Alyssa urvive a man like Emmet Hill? Or will her heart be broken before she even realizes she fell in love?
I was a huge fan of “Before I ever met You” so when I saw that Will and Jackie were going to play a strong part in this storyline, it made me fall more in love with these characters. I felt like everything fell into place and Emmet and Alyssa were meant to be. Karina never ceases to amaze me in her story telling so if you’re looking for a good summer read, make sure to pick this one up.
