This was so much more than what I was expecting and I loved every minute of it!! This wasn’t just a typical student/teacher romance that had a bit of angst and some drama sprinkled in, this was a STORY about loss, secrets, and finding out who you are and what you’re meant to be. This was forbidden romance at it’s best.
Starting your Senior year in a new school is not an easy task. Being the new girl that comes from the wrong side of the tracks that is frowned upon, Remington knows it’s going to be a very long year. But her year just got a whole lot more complicated when a brooding hot as hell, sex on sticks, becomes one of her teachers. Can you say FML?!
Pierce James has been through his fair share of personal issues for the past few years. Teaching a bunch of high society kids the art of debate and giving them the tools to try to make it on their own in the real world, let’s just say it’s a miracle he doesn’t drink. REGULARLY. But there’s more to him than meets the eye and with secrets of his own, this year is going to be one he’s never going to forget. Especially when Remington Stringer takes a seat in his class.

I loved the fact that this story was different and it so many different layers to it. Pierce and Remington were some of the best characters I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading about and their complexities were portrayed in a real and honest matter which I loved. Remington was a strong heroine and I admired the fact that she didn’t complain a lot about her personal issues and she didn’t have blinders on.
One of the things that I love about reading is when I feel the connection between the characters and how genuine it is. I can honestly say that I FELT the connection between Pierce and Remington down to my bones!! These two had an unbreakable bond before they even knew it themselves and I loved watching everything unfold between them. Now don’t get me wrong, a certain someone frustrated the hell out of me during that time but I understood that it had to be done that way. That being said, can we talk about the sexual tension?!!! Holy Shiiiiiiit
If you think you’ve read this kind of student/teacher romance before, trust me you haven’t. You’re definitely going to get the forbidden aspect to it but you’re also getting a hell of a lot more. Secrets, lies, betrayal, fitting in to a perfect society, and falling in love when you least expected it is what’s going to have you flipping the pages at warp speed in this story. So if you’re ready to be bad, then “Misbehaved” is the perfect read for you. But don’t wait too long, Mr. James is not a fan of tardiness.
