I cannot say enough how much I've adored this series and what these characters meant to me. Everyone was unique in their own way and I loved that the author made every book feel different and not just a continuation. Having Nova and Emmett be the last couple for the series felt really special and to see how everything came back in full circle only made me cherish the story even more. If you haven't read this series yet, please give it a try because it is truly worth it.

I liked that we were given this kind of crazy feel to it and you wanted to see just how far these characters were going to take it. Were they redeemable? What were their real intentions? I had these questions swirling around in my head and as much as I adore this author, I wanted MORE from this story.
I was waiting for that moment when my jaw would be on the floor and I would hold my stomach because of the absolute shock of it all and sadly I never got that. A lot of things felt rushed and glossed over to me and I needed to root for SOMEONE. If you love a fast pace revenge story, then this one might be for you.

The Right Side Of Wrong was the forbidden boss summer romance that I was really looking forward to. Prescott Lane makes some really unique characters and you end up falling in love with every single one of them. This unfortunately was not my favorite book from the author but I still fell for some of the characters. Well at least some of them.
As a parent you develop this primal urge to protect and do whatever it takes to keep your child safe. That feeling will stay with you until you take your very last breath and no amount of preparation will help tame that fire within you. Twenty year old Paige knows that feeling very well and when it comes to her five month old son, there is nothing that this woman wouldn't do. When she’s presented with an opportunity to make life a little easier for her, she takes it but it doesn't go without reservation especially when it comes with having a man like Slade Turner for a boss.
Slade is a man of very few words but once he sees something that he wants, he stops at nothing to get. That same type of persistence applies in his business as well and he’s now one of the most successful business entrepreneurs in Nashville. When he encounters the young single mom who gives him more attitude than a two year old without a juice box, he knows that regardless of her smart mouth he has to do something to change her life. What better way to do that than by offering her a job? But some good deeds come with consequences and for Slade and Paige their secrets that they've tried so hard to hide, is going to come to the forefront.
I really liked that beginning of this story and I really admired Paige for doing what was necessary to protect and provide for her son. This woman had a terrible childhood and through it all she survived. What I didn't like was the big buildup for the secret that nearly overshadowed the entire book and only to have it be a letdown because I saw it coming from a mile away. I also wanted to know Slade a bit more and I feel like I didnt know him that much in the book. His feelings for Paige felt rushed to me and it wasn't a natural transition to the next step in my eyes.
I think of you’re a fan of this author and you like a office boss romance setting, then this one is for you.

Small town mystery romance with a touch of suspense is what had me flipping the pages in this story and wanting to know more. Dr. Rebecca Sharpe really pulls you into this tight knit small town of secrets, love and mystery.

I really liked the setting of the story and I'm a huge fan of the small town romance feel. Chevy and Gwen were almost the complete opposite of each other but they worked. He came across as rude and standoffish in the beginning and I loved seeing his tough exterior slowly starting to have little cracks when it came to Gwen. The only issue I had with this one was that I felt like I needed a legal pad to keep up with the names of different characters that had their own books. I've only read one book in the series and I kind of felt overwhelmed when different characters were talked about because it was a lot at times. Aside from that, I enjoyed this one and I think if small town romance is your thing, you're going to love this.
There's no absolution for the things I've done.

Pam Godwin sure knows how to write a forbidden erotic romance. It makes you uncomfortable, crave the unknown, and indulge in the dark desire that we secretly want to be a part of without voicing it. Lessons In Sin gave that to us and even though we were praying for forgiveness in certain scenes, we all know there’s a special place for us for succumbing to the wicked temptation.

I've read a similar book to this in the past and while it’s not normally my thing because of the religious setting, I still enjoy them. I love anything that has a forbidden feel to it and this one had it in spades!! My goodness I wanted to repent for these characters because some of the things that these two did was like…
Even though I feel like the story dragged a little bit and certain scenes felt repetitive, I still enjoyed this forbidden romance and if you’re a fan of this author, I think you’re going to like this one as well.
