Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. Then Wanting You and the Ravage MC series.

Well this was one hell of a ride and quite frankly I don't know if I'm happy to get off or just weep and throw something really sharp because of that MOTHAEFFIN ending. These characters are seriously messed up but I LOVED it and I can't wait for part two.

Even though this story was told from Ella's pov, I loved the fact that everyone had a voice in this story even if it was only for a little while. From Gideon to Easton and the twins,everyone played an important part and love them or hate them,you remembered who they were and knew not cross them.
I really liked Ella and I loved her fight and determination. She didn't hold back when she felt something was wrong amd she stuck up for herself when the time was right. She was fearless, strong and passionate. Being dealt with a tremendous amount of grief and loss, she handled her life with maturity and a grace that most adults are still trying to accomplish. Even though this is classified as an young adult/new adult read,I fee like it's more of a new adult read so please dont let that scare you away.These characters are messy,spoiled and like the authors said,they will ruin you.

I was supposed to beta-read this but it was so good the only thing I could do was gush.
I enjoyed watching Caitlin and Ethan living their happily ever after, and finally get closure for all those little things that were unresolved in the first book. Like I told the author: this was like a Christmas gift I wasn't expecting, but I'm so happy that it happened. This is a great addition to the series, and unlike most novellas, this one IMHO is a must read. It will make you feel, laugh and cry in only 20.000 words or so. (I know, that's LK Owen's magic. She's a genius who will play with your feelings in 8 chapters or less.)
Her writing captivated me even more than before, and I thought that the whole book being in Ethan's POV was ideal. The war scene was very vivid and I loved how a certain character (I won't mention it because it's kind of a spoiler) appeared.
I love all the characters and I'm so invested in this series I can't wait to see what L.K. Owen sucker punches me with next (lol)
PS: This series should most certainly be read in order.

-What inspired you to start writing?
I’ve always written things when was nine or ten, I wrote a story about a bear. In my teen years, I wrote non-stop little stories and poems. I don’t think any one specific thing or person inspired me.

To write? Paranormal romance.

Mostly go with the flow, I occasionally plan.

I’ve just finished up working on a m/m rugby romance called After the Scrum which should be out sometime in April. I’ve also been working on a secret summer project about two old childhood friends who suddenly realize they’ve fallen in love along the way and never knew it.
Dahlia Donovan started out working in the insurance world. After ten years, she morphed her love of investigating accidents and studying people into writing about them. I grew up in a small town in Iowa. I have 2 older sisters and amazing parents. Growing up, I was always a daddy’s girl, hanging out with him in the garage, fishing, and building stuff. I loved to play softball and swimming, but reading, telling stories, and writing were my passion, even at a young age. I took a break from writing for a while, but you could always find me with a book in my hand.
I have three children – two boys and a girl. They are my whole world. Even when I’m having the worst day ever, they brighten up my day and make me smile.
A few years ago, there was this story that would always play out in my head and no matter how many times I went through it, from beginning to end, it would never fade. So I decided to put it on paper. I didn’t plan on publishing it, but when it was almost done, a friend asked to read it. She said it was a story that needed to be shared. And that’s what started my writing career.
I love all genres of books, and even though I started with writing MC Romance, I have a whole book of ideas, so you can expect more from me than just MC, though romance is in my blood.
Even though I currently work two jobs, my ultimate dream is to become a full time author. I want to be able to spend my days filling pages with stories. I want to be the reason people find a reason to smile or laugh from lines on a page. Reading a book allows me to live in someone else’s shoes, even if only for a few minutes. It’s a way to leave my life and troubles behind and I want to be help others do that as well.
