But she's a few weeks early for that segment so not wanting to waste a night, she stays and enjoys herself and meets a handsome stranger. With the conversations flowing nicely, Genevieve and Liam hit it off so well, they decide to stay in contact. That is until Liam finds out about her little white lie and unbeknownst to him, he's going to be seeing a lot more of her.
I truly loved the first half of this story and I felt the longing and enjoyed the banter between these characters. Having to keep things proper in a professional manner was not their strong suit and it fed into the forbidden aspect of things even more which I really liked. But…. The second half of the story was extremely rushed and I began to not even care about the main characters anymore. The new storyline was too much and over the top for my liking and I just needed things to slow down a bit.
If you're looking for a quick forbidden romance with light banter to pass the time, then you could give this one a try.
