I really need to get back to reading K.Bromberg books because it's very clear that I've been missing her work!! I really didn't expect much with this story and I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

Stevie Lancaster is a woman that has always been on top of her game. Being one of the most respected and hard working female tennis player in her time, this was a woman who had it all. After the death of her father, everything that Stevie has ever believed in or loved, is suddenly on the back burner for her and she now chooses to spend her time partying and living on the wild side. But when reinforcements are brought in to do damage control to her image and get her back on track, Stevie comes face to face with someone who should've been a distant memory.

Finn Sanderson has always believed in the logic of work hard, player harder. Being the ultimate playboy has it's perks of getting any woman you want but the most important thing to him is his job and keeping his clients happy. When he's asked to take on a new client that's been in the press for all the wrong reasons, he tries to help as much as possible but what he was not expecting was to see the woman who left him speechless from before.

I really enjoyed this one and I liked that the heroine was a famous strong athlete who didn't always have her stuff together. She struggled but she was a fighter and her determination saw her through a lot of things. I just wished that we could've gotten some flashbacks in her younger days and I needed her and Finn to spend more time because as much as I liked them separately, they needed more time together.

If you're a fan of this author, I think you're really going to enjoy this one and you'll be adding much more of her books to your list.
