Marni Mann sure knows how to bring the sexy and glamorous to a new series and she certainly held nothing back with this one. The Lawyer gave us a taste of a reality star’s life, drama behind the scenes and the forbidden aspect of falling for a man who’s made it his life’s mission to stay out of the public eye.

Kendall is the type of woman that will do anything for the person that she loves and her sister was no exception. Moving to California to be her assistant and help her navigate her fame, Kendall knows that she is in for one heck of a ride. But that’s nothing compared to the madness that she’s about to enter when she becomes a star herself all thanks to a handsome lawyer.

Dominick Dalton has always been the straightforward no nonsense type of guy and that applies to his work as well. Along with his brothers, he’s one of the best lawyers in the business and everyone knows it. When he meets a gorgeous woman the night before, Dominick has no idea how much she’s going to change the course of his life.

I haven't read a lot of hollywood type romance books but I was looking for something a little different and I definitely found it with this one. The setting was different, the characters were pillow snuffing worthy if you know what I mean and you got the inevitable drama.

Now even though we were entertained by that for a while,I still had a bit of a hard time with this one. I couldn't fully connect with Dominick and Kendall as a couple because they needed more time together. Their relationship felt like we were going on a motorcycle ride at 180mph and I just needed them to slow down a bit.

REVIEW: Paper Hearts by Claire Contreras

I lost her.No, I didn't lose her. I threw her away. She was my best friend. I was never supposed to fall in love with her. I was careless. She was heartbroken. I was doing fine until she came back into my life and  reminded me what love was supposed to feel like.  When it's all said and done, she may not want to stay, but this time I'm going to do everything in my power to not let her go.

My Review:
I loved this book!! I loved how the author wrote it, the dual POV of both characters, how she managed to explain how the five years that the characters were apart affects them and how they continue with they lives, but any of them was able to forget what they had in the past. I liked how the author    incorporates the column, that Jensen writes for the magazine he works at the end of every Jensen chapters. And what I loved most, is that the novel is the one that Jensen ends up writing about Mia and himself. I LOVED that the two characters like Mumford & Sons! Is also one of the band I like too!! 

 About the story:
This is the story about Mia and Jensen, they were together when they were younger but then, Jensen goes to New York to study to be a writer. When he comes back he tells Mia that he cheat on her.
Five years later, they reunite in Mia's best friend wedding and is there that Jensen finds out that Mia is going to New York to work as a photographer.
While she is in New York she found out that Jensen writes book for children and they are about her. One day Jensen has a brilliant idea and he propose Mia to write a book about their relationship while they are in New York, so they start seeing each other again, but any of them trust each other; Jensen is afraid that Mia is going to run away and Mia is afraid that Jensen is going back with his ex.
But after all their problems they end up together and Jensen finally publish his book.

I LOVED this book so much!
At first, I thought I'd hate the book, but then Logan made me fall in love with his character and the story.I loved Grace and I felt that she could be my friend in real life because she is so easy to love and is the nicest person I could imagine.
Seriously, IT WAS SO GOOD. I think I might like it even more than I liked The Deal.
Elle Kennedy does this thing where she writes nice real female protagonist that you can't help but adore. They feel like someone you could meet in real life. These characters don't seem fictional at all.
It was funny. I laughed out loud more times than I can count throughout the book.
It was a sexy, steamy, sizzling romance!
It touched sensitive issues with respect. It wasn't sugar-coated. IT WAS THE PLAIN TRUTH.

PS: John Logan, more like SWOON. I thought I wouldn't like Logan, based on the first book. I just didn't click with him, because he liked his bff girl. But you know wha? He was so relatable. DAMN YOU LOGAN. Elle Kennedy made me love him. (It also helps that he is super sexy). He realized that he just wanted a girl who could love him like Hanna loves Garret.It is impossible not to love Logan!

“What are you doing?” I whisper. “Well, you were looking at me like you wanted me to kiss you.” His blue eyes become heavy-lidded. “So I was thinking I might do that.”

"I love you, you stupid jackass.”
