Series: White Monarch #3
Author: Jessica Hawkins
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 12, 2019

Blurb

The highly anticipated conclusion to the “emotional, steamy, and dangerous” USA Today bestselling White Monarch series.

I’ve become a queen to the forsaken, a leader to thieves, and the wife of a man who instills fear in all who cross his path. He was the husband I didn’t want. Now, I can’t fathom life without my king.

I should’ve been ready for anything. Like the caterpillar that feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in the dangerous world of cartel crime. But nothing could’ve prepared me for Cristiano de la Rosa, his brother’s poison, or the Calavera cartel.

This is still a story about a love strong enough to topple households, unite enemies, and divide brothers. Resilient enough to bring down those who would try to destroy it . . . and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice.

But I was warned, and so were you. Death’s day always comes. This time, it will find what was once a caterpillar is now a butterfly—and hell hath no fury like the White Monarch.

“My husband showed me everyday that he made his own destiny, and that I could make mine.”

Violent Triumphs is the epic, gripping, emotional, beautiful, angsty, and explosive  conclusion to the White Monarch series! And let me tell you, I could not wait for this baby to drop into my Kindle! Ever since the cliffhanger from book two, Violent Ends, I was waiting for more of Natalia and Cristiano De La Rosa.

Their slow-burning, all-consuming, scorching hot, enemies to lovers romance had me hooked since book one, Violent Delights.

And did I mention how much I love mafia romance? It’s my fucking jam!

Natalia’s transformation from princess to Queen was EVERYFREAKINGTHING. She embodied who she was, accepted it, and stood by Cristiano’s side until the very freaking end. Beauty, brains, and bad-aaa is what I’d call a lady like Natalia De La Rosa, and goodness, I love her so much! Seriously, one of my favorite heroines, EVER!

“I’ve waited for you to stop acting like a princess and start thinking like a queen.”

Cristiano is everything you want in a hot-blooded alpha male. His filthy mouth, his don’t fuck with me demeanor, and his tenderness towards Natalie was just so swoon worthy!

“I wasn’t a king until you came along. Me coronaste. You crowned me.”

Their story, their progression, their love... it truly was beautiful as it unfolded in its’ own way. It was long awaited, heartbreaking and painful, intense and passionate. Hawkins truly captured the essence of enemies to lovers through Natalia and Cristiano in it’s purest form. It’s not forced, it’s sometimes not recognizable at first, but it’s there.

“Love is I’d die for you, not would you die for me?”

The White Monarch series, a beautiful masterpiece, is one of my favorite series that I’ve read to date! I don’t know how I can move on from these books, THIS book, and the ending it gave us!! It’s definitely one of those series that I’ll have no issues re-reading and visiting my highlights all over again and again! It’s truly one of a kind! Natalia and Cristiano will always have my heart!

Five dreamy stars (10 if I could give it that!): ðŸ’«ðŸ’«ðŸ’«ðŸ’«ðŸ’«
