I have to admit that yes I'm a cover whore and I regret nothing. When I read the blurb for this story,I was very intrigued by it and it did not disappoint.
Griffin(Stitch)has had a terrible childhood.Being constantly abused by his Grandfather has taken it's toll on him and after being nearly beaten to death, with his sister's help,he decides to run away. Now an adult he finally has that family bond and brotherhood that he's been missing with his club. Known as the "Enforcer",his job is to protect the club by any means necessary and he's damn good at it.
Wren is now a single mother who has suffered tremendous abuse from her ex husband. Having a seven year old with Asperger's syndrome, her main focus is him and his safety from his father. Having being allowed supervised visits with his father,Wren still fears for the safety of her son and devises a plan with him in case of an emergency.
"My first instinct had been to protect them.Until now it never occurred to me that I needed to protect myself".
A chance encounter
One life altering moment
After meeting Wren and her son Wyatt,Stitch developed this all consuming need to protect them. Going through great lengths to achieve that, they became a part of his world and he wants to make them his. I really enjoyed this story and I what I loved the most was Stitch's interaction with Wyatt. He was very understanding and attentive to him.I would've loved to see more of it because it really was sweet caring.
