Well... Where do I start?
This book was given to me by the sweet Deanna Eshler in exchange for an honest review. I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop fangirling with her in every e-mail I sent updating her on my reading experience.
First of all let me tell you that I beta-read for several authors and none of them pulled me into the story as fast as this lady did. Her story-telling is BRILLIANT. The writing style was simple, but beautiful
Shy Kinda Love is a plot-driven story about tough choices, guilt, healing, friendship, family, sexuality, and of course, LOVE. (And horses. A lot of pretty, cute, sweet horses. Now I want one!)
Kade, our hero, is so cute it makes me want a nerdy guy too. WHERE IS MY KADE? I WANT ONE!
I am so intrigued by the secondary characters that I want their story too! Gemma, Keegan, EVERYONE! They feel like REAL people. (I WANT KEEGAN'S STORY. PRETTY PLEASE WITH A ZOMBIE ON TOP.)
Don't get me started on Ryder. SUCH A GOOD BFF! He is amazing to Shyanne. How she listens to him, and actually tries to be happy. She understands where he is coming from, and tries to live.
