Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap. He’s not handling it well. Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own: Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition. A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart. While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye. The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor. But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight. As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

I think it’s safe to say that every girl has always dreamed of being a princess and having prince charming worship them at their feet. We’ve all had that moment where we envision ourselves roaming the halls of the palace, having tea with the queen, and rubbing elbows with the high society would’ve been a dream come true for most of us. But when you have an untamable prince with a bad boy persona, I’m on the first flight to the most elite charm school!!

Henry has done a lot of partying in his days to the point where he forgot most of his indiscretions. But that’s ok because he’s a crown prince and when you’re in the presence of royalty like Henry, bowing down is not the only thing you’ll be doing. Told to clean up his act, Henry is sent to his family’s castle on the other side of town. But boredom is the devil and with a mind like Henry’s, he’s about to get himself some very public attention.

Twenty women vying for your attention in the hopes that they’ll become the new Princess is what Henry has to deal with for the next four weeks. But he’s ready to sow his wild oats and have a little fun before anyone can take him seriously and what better way to do it than have 20 of the hottest women at your Beck and call? That was the plan until he laid eyes on the quiet brunette who would become his ultimate game changer.

“I would give up a crown for her. I would give up my name, my title- I would trade my country, forfeit my birthright, lie, kill, cheat and steal for this. For her.

Sarah Titebottom (yes that is her last name) has always been a shy girl. Give her a room full of books and she’s the most outspoken, vivacious woman you will ever come across. When her sister gets cast as one of the contestants, she decides to tag along and assist her. Falling a prince is easy but when you’re trying to fly under the radar, falling for the incomparable Henry, could be heart thumping catastrophic. But Henry is a man that when he sees something he wants, he goes after it. And the shy girl that gets lost in her own stories under a tree, is exactly the woman that he wants.
"Corrupting the good ones is my favorite pastime.”
“I’m not corruptible.
His smile broadens.
Good. I like a challenge.”

I LOVED the fact that Sarah was this bookworm who had her own quirks and flaws. She was a very loyal sister who would’ve done anything for her and I really liked that about her. Now as for the chemistry between these two? Everything felt so genuine and heartfelt and I really admired that about them to the point I was envious. If you haven’t read this series yet, you really need to because Emma Chase will make you WANT TO be a Royal.

5.0 "HENRY EFFECT" STARS!!!
"If Harry Potter was the Boy Under the Stairs, I could be the Prince Under the Stage. Why the fuck not?"
Squee!!! I was swept off by Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco. This naughty and king of ditching yet charming lad is all sorts of fun, and he's all MINE. So back off ladies!!!
“But I’ve never been very good at doing what I’m told. It’s a problem. Or a reflex. If they say left, I go right. If they say sit, I jump. If they say behave, I get drunk and spend the weekend screwing all three of the Archbishop’s triplet nieces.
Wooot!!! As always, Emma Chase did not disappoint. Her works are what every readers needed. Royally Matched is a modern fairy tale at it's finest with romance, fun, and all the feels articulate woven and just perfectly delivered. Hands down to this queen of romance because this book is another proof of her brilliance - A page turner royally written modern fairy tale from the royalty herself.

Now, buckle on your seats lovelies, as you will take your journey in Matched: Royal Edition.

Where twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

Ahhhh!!!! I had so much fun reading this book with a big smile always plastered on my face. After Royally Screwed where we get glimpses of Henry, I was so giddy to finally start his story. This man is just every woman's fantasy. Because let's face it, In as much as we wanted a jerk, AH, brooding yet sexy alpha men, we cannot deny the fact that we so wanted the likes of Henry. Charming, melts panties in just one stare and smile, fun-loving, seeks thrills and above all naughty without a care in the world. But make no mistake because this royalty is so much more than what he wears on his sleeve. But damn! With this hero, I had so much fun and I enjoyed every bits of pieces. I love love how his character was portrayed.I was swooning all over and I am soooo in love with him. No doubt, Lady Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum falls for him HARD! Now this woman is another story. Her and Henry are the complete opposite of each other. She's reserved, book nerd (proof how she compares Henry with book's characters). She maybe odd, what with constant wearing of black, but a beautiful woman nonetheless with an inner characteristic you'll probably adore and love. She's your quite yet clever with a naughty sense of humor too. Yup!That she is. With them together??? Not just fun and excitement but all sorts of EXPLOSIVE!!!

Wonder why Henry falls for her just as HARD? Just like the in the book, "it's always the silent one".
Henry is wild and careless, but that’s not all he is. He’s also gentle and kind and patient and giving and intelligent and clever . . . and wonderful. I left those parts out. He could crush me; the foreshadowing is clearly written. It’s a tale as old as time: the inexperienced bluestocking and the bed-hopping rogue.
Royally Matched is a book that I could say, did not just gave me entertainment, fun and enjoyment. I wasn't just given a ride into a fantasy everyone dreams. But, I was in for a journey that is so in awe-inspiring, and that fun and entertainment is just an added bonus. When you finally get to read the book, you will realize the depth of Henry and Sarah. I did cry you know, when I thought I will just fall in love and laugh. But, boy I was so in love how they're characters was written. No scratch that, I was so in love how this book is written perfectly by Emma Chase. I am just so in LOVE with everything!!! In as much as I was swooning for the hero, and adored the heroine, I am all thumbs up with their growth. See, this book isn't just about fairy tale. It's also finding one self and finally believing in yourself. And of course love.. you can never go wrong with love. Just as Henry puts it,
“Duty, Honor, Love,” I tell her. “But the greatest of these is love."
So now, get ready to finally dive into the story you won’t see on television or read in the history books. The tale of an unruly prince who found the queen of his heart, and learned how to be a King.
