Ever since I read "Unbreak My Heart", I KNEW that I had to read this one and I was so happy that this turned out to be Bram and Ani's story. If you loved Shane and Kate, then you're going to crazy for Bram and Anni because these two? Gave sexual tension a whole new meaning. This is a story about family,loss,and what it truly means to love someone selflessly.
Growing up, Anita Martin didn't have the best childhood. Having been placed in different foster homes has made her hesitant with her other families but that all changes when she meets the Evans. She finally knows the true meaning of love and what it feels like to have it reciprocated but there's one family member that gets under her skin and he has no intention of leaving.
Abraham Evans is broody demanding douche. Not the best quality to have but the one thing he has is a heart. He LOVES his family and he goes above and beyond to do anything for them.Having suffered a tragedy with his brother when they were younger, being apart of the Evans family and having that bond with everyone, was something that he's wanted for a long time.
But not always being able to see eye to eye with Annie is starting to test his patience, along with his lower region. What will happen when these two finally give into their sexual tension.
Will they crash and burn?
Or will this be one of the greatest loves they've ever known?
I loved that this story was not only about Bram and Ani, but the entire family. Every single family member had a voice in this and I enjoyed seeing how everyone came together so effortlessly. It was beautiful, heartwarming, and it set the tone for the story.
These characters were real, their day to day life was a complete mess sometimes but you know what? They supported each other and loved with such a fierceness that was awe inspiring. If you love a sweet romance with some angst, don't miss out on this one!
When Nicole Jacquelyn was eight and people asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she told them she wanted to be a mom. When she was twelve, her answer changed to author. Her dreams stayed constant. First, she became a mom, and then during her senior year of college--with one daughter in first grade and the other in preschool--she sat down and wrote a story.
