Swear! These Landry men will be the death of me! I was super elated yet undeniably it's clear enough I haven't had a good night's rest because I cannot put the book down the moment I started reading it. And if I mentioned the previous Landry books were the perfect ones? Try Ford.Fucking.Landry and I'm telling you, it's beyond perfect. Lordy, I cannot help but just scream at myself and dream of Ford! Adriana's writing with this book was excellent and it's effortless to read. Words just flowed flawlessly I was just left to feel the emotions that was seeping through every lines and pages. God, I'm more than addicted with this book. If only I can rate it more than 5 stars I will!
Ford and Ellie's story was one I never saw coming. Sure, I've been interested with him, curious even but really it's not what I expected. It was beyond my expectations!!! Few chapters in and I was lost in the book. My emotions were all over I feel like my heart's gonna burst. I did not know what to make of it. But God, reading someting out of Ford I could not help but cried. Yes I did! Like what the hell? Was it even part of it? My crying? You cannot blame me though. He's far one of the toughest Landry I have known and his heartfelt emotions got me. I say this often with Addy's release that her hero's are mine, but right now I couldn't just say DIBS on Ford because I wanted more! His emotions towards Ellie and Ellie's thought about Ford is something I feel so real. The angst, their emotions, everything they've been through just felt so alive. I can feel it even in my fingertips. Suffice to say I am sold out with this book. I love it big time. And just when I thought my heart's gonna burst because it felt so full with so much emotions, Addy's next scene had me panting with need. I was so turned on right next with all the puffy eyes and need to to gasp for air to breathe. Even with my heightened state of sexual anticipation, I could not help but notice how brilliantly and amazing Addy could shift my emotions from one to the next immediately. And by that I was drawn more with the story. I could not just put it down, I don't want it to end.
“What I’m saying is for you to figure out what puts a smile on your face and give that a try. Try new things. Let Ford try them too. If it’s a mistake, then you’ll know and you don’t have to wonder . Besides, life is entirely too short to live with so much caution you’re frozen.”
For real, I highly recommend this book. Ford and Ellie's journey is a beautiful second chance at love story, so emotional yet packed with intense scenes, hilarious one's and swoony moments it's hard not to fall in love big time. It's a kind of trope I am a sucker for, and Adriana's brilliant writing depicted in her perfect delivery and portrayal of the characters were just amazingly well crafted I cannot help but just read in awe. The portrayal of forgiveness, trust issues and the rough patches along the way to HEA was on point. It's remarkably unforgettable because it wasn't just rushed but every details was clearly given with thoughts and just added more substance to the story. And with the whole Landry gang in the mix? Lo and behold this book was just well rounded it was so fun and enjoyable to read I wanted to shout in glee. Well, I did! Talk about going gaga over Landry's right? I can be the CEO of Landry's gaga fanatics!!
Read this book. You will not get disappointed because Addy really will not do that to you. It's surprisingly one of her best works to date and honestly I could hug and kiss her right now. Have you ever had that moment where you just highlighted notes? My God, I did it with this book. Her words of wisdom and lines will struck you straight in the heart and among all of those are these lines that really made and impact tonthis story. The lines that had me pondering on things and made me realize just how brilliant destiny, fate or even the universe could be and with Addy's story of Ford and Ellie with it? It couldn't be more perfect.

It’s impossible
not to smile that he remembered my drink of choice. It’s also hopeless to
pretend that the boyish grin he’s flipping me doesn’t melt away some of the ice
around my heart.
Still, I
don’t want to play nice.
“I already
had coffee today. But thank you,” I say politely.
“No
offense, but you are kind of irritable this morning. Maybe you could use
another shot of caffeine.”
“You think
I’m irritable now? Keep it up.”
“You never
were a morning person,” he laughs. “Some things never change.”
“And some
things do,” I point out, giving him a look. “Seriously, why are you here?”
“I have
business with Violet. Remember?”
“That’s
bullshit anyway, but she’s not here. You’ll have to come back later.”
“Is that an
invitation?” he laughs.
“Did it
sound like one?” My arms cross over my chest and I’m aware it makes my boobs
look bigger. As his eyes drop and catch the top of my cleavage, his gaze burns
a trail on the ascent back up to my eyes.
Satisfaction
paints a smug look on my face and desire burns in the apex of my thighs. As
discreetly as possible, I clench my legs together to quell a bit of the ache
that’s beginning to throb under his observation.
When our
gazes meet, his is crackling. He lifts a single brow. “I damn sure hope that’s
an offer to come. If it’s not, we have a problem on our hands.”
“No, you have a problem on your hands,” I
say, shrugging. “It has nothing to do with me.”
