Things a bad neighbor can do to you:
1. Have loud parties late at night
2. Refuse to mow his lawn
3. Steal your newspapers
4. Rip your heart out and walk all over it
Katya Tocci is willing to admit that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.
Liam Edenhoff showed her a side of life she'd been missing out on - sex and friendship and tacos. But then he betrayed her.
Wulfric Stone taught her that big surprises can come from unexpected places - like from a surly, aggressive, withdrawn bastard. But then he broke her heart.
Now one of them wants forgiveness, and the other wants forever. And Katya? She just wants to forget.
Who knew neighbors could be so difficult?
This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and quite possibly enough confusion to drive a normal person insane. Reader discretion is advised.
4.0 "FOLLOW YOUR HEART" STARS!!!
Two men she'd been involved with, slept with, had deep, personal relationships with. Two men who'd empowered her and helped her grow and changed her very core. Two men who had used her and chewed her up and then spit her out. And now both those men were her close neighbors. Jesus, this brings a whole new meaning to “there goes the neighborhood”.
I have been waiting for this book for what felt like forever so just like anybody else I am so eager what the author is in store for us right now.And with The Neighborhood, YASSS!! A whole new level of craziness, playing games and then later on to asking forgiveness and then finally choosing who'll end up who. Now the question is are you Team Tacos orTeam Wulfy???My GAAAD... I know for a fact that you are just as conflicted as me. We wanted the alpha sexiness of Wulfy, his intensity, his brooding nature and his "I don't care attitude" but at the same time we are longing for Eden's sweet and carefree nature. And who will even forget his flirty ways? Both men brought big impact to Katya but the question is, who really is she gonna choose in the end? Will there even be a HEA? Definitely yes, but the road to forever seems wasn't that easy. Games were played, misunderstamding and tension rises and naturally somebody gets to get hurt. That is the reason why no matter how enjoyable and fun this story line is, How we are rooting for the angst it usually brings and the gut wrenching and heart stopping moments, and don't get me even started with how thick the sexual tension is, but really in in the end only one is sure bound to get Katya's Yes!
To be honest, as conflicted as I was, I even silently plead "Let it be threesome please?". I was actually rooting for it but who knows where the evil mind of Stylo Fantome gonna lead us in this book? She's known for her mindfucks story line, proof on how our feelings felt being played. Our minds confused leading to our hearts choosing so hard amongst these two men. But one thing is for sure, You can never go wrong with Stylo no matter how crazy the characters journey are. And that is one the many reasons why I love Stylo Fantome works. In fact my mind has been spinning in circles as I read the book. I have a rollercoaster of emotions devouring this conclusion. As a Team Wulfy through and through, I love how his character was being portrayed. Don't get me wrong I have a soft spot for Eden too leading me to "threesome please". But then I will admit, I hate Katya as much as I love her. I hated her actions and I wanna strangle this woman. The fact that two men were fighting over her got me wanting to erase her. Aside from that I hated how she was being portrayed in this conclusion. However though, I lover her, because her flawed character had me keep going in the story. It had me engrossingly reading never minding where I was and what I was supposed to do. I just read and read until I finished the book.
And my verdict? It was a good conclusion of this love triangle story. I love how it was written. It was a long book and I appreaciated how the characters past were incorporated showing to us readers why these characters are "who they seem to be" in the present. It reallly had me a good foundation and understanding why they acted what way. More than that, I love how what was being stressed out in this story. Because more than the "love triangle", more than the choosing part, more than the mistakes of the past, the actions that only heightened the tension, the story focuses on what really it is to fall in love. That no matter how ugly it started, no matter how confusions and complications arises, it will boil down to the fact that "Falling in love was never easy. It is messy and difficulf and it wasn't even fair. Sorry isn't even a question. It's easy to spit this word out but it's another story on how you acted on it, talk about. It really takes work. Because truly, "when you love someone, forgiveness comes easier.”
And Katya's dad is right, you must follow your heart. And this line, really made an impact. "Your mistake is thinking that forgiving someone automatically takes away all the hard work that goes into the relationship. You think saying 'I'm sorry' should magically make the hurt and heartache go away. Well, it doesn't – 'I'm sorry' are just the first two words at the very beginning of a lot of conversations and a very long road of work."
Great job Stylo for delivering this enjoyable read. You really had me with your complicated and sexy stories. But more than that, you stole my heart with your words and lines.
Having a good neighbor is nice, but having one that loves you and takes care of you and makes every moment feel like it's catching on fire? Well, that's just the best neighbor ever ...
3.5 Stars
The Neighborhood is the second book in the Twin Estates series by
Stylo Fantome. Katya’s story comes to a close, and she finally makes a decision
regarding the two men in her life, Wulfric and Liam. This installment was
gripping and emotional. Once I started this book, I didn’t want to put it down!
Hopefully, this review won’t be too long. I am going to try
to keep it on the short side… though that may not happen. I just don’t want to
say too much about this book, because I don’t want to give too much away. There
may be some indirect or minor spoilers though, so beware! I also don’t want my
head to explode. Never has a book made me feel the level of anger and
frustration this one has! The first book made me want to throw my kindle across
the room, but this one made me want to smash it to pieces! I need a drink and
possibly anger management. Regardless, I hated what transpired in this book!
Hated. it. I don’t quite know how to put into words all of my feelings about
this book. Please bear with me.
The number one reason this book made me want to rip my hair
out is that I dislike Wulfric with every fiber of my being. I am a lover of the
alpha asshole hero. In fact, most of my favorite heroes are world class
assholes. Apparently, even I have my limits.
Why do I dislike him so much? Wulf is a big snob. If there is one thing I hate, it is people that
think they are better than somebody else or can get away with anything because
they have money or influence. He tried to buy Katya multiple times instead of
doing any real work to show he was sorry or simply just apologizing to her.
That would be beneath him. Even his kind gestures were usually just him
throwing money at something or someone.
Aside from that, the biggest reason I wouldn’t spit on him
if he was on fire is because he treats Katya like she is a dumb bimbo that will
do anything as long as he gives her his cock. Maybe I can’t blame him, because she
acts like she is. Seriously, this man’s magic dick makes her lose all control. She has zero self-respect when it comes to
him. In the first book, I felt like she became completely brain dead when she
was around him. I wanted to knock her upside her head! This time she knew his
game, so she didn’t make it as easy for him. Regardless, he got her to cave
whenever he put forth any real effort.
There is no romance between these two for most of the book. Wulf
basically says, “I am going to fuck you, and you are going to like it” and
then, LAUGHS that she is a weak bitch after it actually happens. It’s not her
fault! How can she resist his enchanted penis?
He never really thinks she may pick Liam over him, because
he is the greatest man alive. He has the nerve to tell her that even after
everything he did to her, he knows he never lost her! Guys, this man disgusts
me! Cocky can be cute, but his ego is repulsive! Wulfric passed up arrogant a looong
time ago. There are no words for his level of egomania!
The second major problem I had with this book was the fact
that Liam becomes a different person. I don’t care what anybody says, what
happens to him in this book seemed so forced it was ridiculous. It felt like
the author had to do something to him that would make Wulf not look as bad. I
felt bad for Liam. I am going to wrap this up, because I am dying to say more
and I shouldn’t.
Why give this 3.5 stars if I had such negative feelings
about it? I know the writing deserves at least that. I couldn’t stop reading it,
and I finished it all in one night. Not only was it captivating, but it made me
FEEL so much. I can’t take that away from the author. By the time it was all
said and done, I felt like I had lived everything right along with the
characters, and that is probably why I feel so strongly about them. I even want
to read the next book! Shocking, right? I NEED to know what happens! Again, I
have to give credit for that!
Would I recommend this book? I would recommend it to
everyone that loved Neighbors or are fans of Stylo Fantome. If Neighbors made
you crazy, read The Neighborhood so I can discuss it with someone that feels the
same way I do! LOL

"Have you eaten?” he asked.
“How did you get in here?” she ignored his question and asked her own.
“I have access to the keys for every building we manage. Are you really meeting that thing for dinner?” he asked again.
“Okay, first of all, 'that thing' is a seriously good looking, very successful, and ridiculously nice man – a man who has yet to lie to me and use me,” she pointed out.
“Key word being 'yet'.”
“And second of all, I know for a fact my lease states you have to give me twenty-four hour notice before you just barge in here. If you come in again without my permission, I'm gonna file a complaint,” she warned him. He laughed. Actually laughed. Something Wulfric Stone didn't do very often. She took a deep breath and looked away from his broad smile.
“Please do. I'll direct my HR department to hand deliver it to my desk so I can deal with it
personally.”
“Are we done here? I have things to do today that don't involve dealing with you,” she snapped. He stepped closer to her.
“You might be even funner now than you were before.”
“That's not funny, and if you can't realize that, then there is literally no hope for you.”
“Ah, implying there is hope.”
“Shut up.”
“Feisty. I love it.”
“I talked to Vieve,” she blurted out. That finally stopped him.
“Oh, really,” was all he said.
“Yup. Went to your place, had a cup of coffee with her,” she said. That seemed to actually surprise him.
“You were in my home?” he checked.
“Yes. Apparently, I could've been spending lots of time there. Very generous of you to give me complete access,” she said. He didn't react, though she noticed the tendon in the side of his neck was taut and straining.
“Yes, well, I've met you. I knew if you ever showed up, it would be a huge hassle with the front desk calling my office and you calling my cell phone and me having to drive across town.
Was just easier that way.”
“Sure. Okay.”
“And how was the coffee? I have it imported.”
Katya stared at the tight tendon for a moment longer. He was so good at putting on a false front, she knew. Looking calm and collected. After all, this was a man who ate million dollar real estate deals before breakfast.
But it was all fake. He was nervous. Deep down, she could tell. Being forceful was just his way of barreling through a problem he didn't actually want to deal with – he could just strong arm her into doing what he wanted. No unnecessary awkwardness. That was Wulf's M.O.
Yeah, well, my M.O. is to make him feel as awkward as humanly possible.
“I can't go to breakfast with you,” she stated, brushing past him and heading down the hallway. He didn't hesitate to follow behind her.
“No shit, it's afternoon – it's too late for brunch, even. But that Brazilian food cart is open for lunches now, we're going -” he started, but she waved her hand over her shoulder as she moved into her bedroom.
“How did you get in here?” she ignored his question and asked her own.

"I can't, I'm busy this afternoon. I have to go shopping for a new stove – don't worry, I'll have the bill sent to you,” she joked, turning around and standing in the doorway to her room.
He glared down at her.
“Don't be ridiculous. I'll talk to maintenance, we can get a new stove in by the end of the
week,” he assured her.
“Whatever. I have other plans.”
“Tocci, I'm not -”
“But how about dinner?” she offered.
That seemed to shock him. He stood still for moment, his eyes wandering over her face.
Obviously trying to figure out if she was lying. She offered him a big smile, and that just seemed to throw him even more off guard. He finally narrowed his eyes.
“If I make reservations, you'll be downstairs on time?” he checked.
“No,” she shook her head. “But I can meet you there.”
“Bullshit. You'll stand me up, and I'm not wasting my time, sitting around like an asshole waiting for you,” he said.
“I won't, I promise. I have … a client I'm dealing with this afternoon. I don't know how long it will take,” she told him.
“What about your dinner date with your darling handyman?” he asked. She shrugged.
“I'll figure something out, don't worry about it. I'll have dinner with you.”
“You promise?” he checked, still glaring down at her. She nodded and ran her fingers across her chest in an X motion.
“Cross my heart.”
“Fine. But don't fuck with me, Tocci. You won't like it if I have to come and find you. We have a lot to discuss,” he informed her. She nodded.
“I'm sure we do. What's the dress code?” she asked. Wulf was a 3-Michelin-stars kind of restaurant goer when it came to dinner dates.
“A dress,” he informed her, and then his gaze wandered over her shoulder. She had some clothes laying around on the floor, littered about on the bed. She was gearing up to do laundry. “If you'd like to try on some options, I'd be more than happy to sit and help.”
Katya laughed and slid her hands up either side of the door frame. Wulf followed the motion with his eyes, which grew wide when she leaned towards him.
“Mmmm, that would be fun, wouldn't it?” she chuckled.
“Possibly.”
“And it's been a very long time since you've been in my bedroom,” she reminded him. He nodded.
“It has.”
“And we never got to have any real fun in here, did we?” she sighed, glancing back at her bed.
“No. No, we did it not.”
“It must make you wonder, though,” she said, dropping her hands and stepping back into the room.
“Wonder what?”
“What kind of fun Liam and I used to have in here.”
There was a split second where she got to see equal parts anger and shock ripple across his features.
Then she slammed the door in his face.
He glared down at her.
“Don't be ridiculous. I'll talk to maintenance, we can get a new stove in by the end of the

Author Bio
Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.
I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.
