Review Blitz + Double Review: Richer than Sin by Meghan March

August 16, 2018

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.   A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends. Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn’t know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day. Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable. I’ll never be done with her.

I’m not even going to lie right now, I fucking inhaled this book shamelessly!! I told myself that this story was worth savoring and enjoying like a fine glass of wine but when you have a prologue like that? Going slow, takes a back seat. I’ve been anticipating this story for a very long time and as usual, Meghan March did not disappoint.

I’m not ashamed to admit that seeing the cover for this one took away half of my brain cells but with sheer determination, I managed to not only get enraptured with the story itself, but fall for in love with some of the best characters written to date. Going into the story, your breath is immediately held hostage because you know for a fact that this is not going to end well but you still have hope. A lot of good that did but in the end, all is forgiven because your number one goal is to find out how two people who were never meant to be together, made a love story that could potentially burn down their own town.

“Listen up Blue. You’re back in my town. You can hear me. You can see me. You can pretend I’m not here all you want, but I am…. And there's one thing you should know. We aren’t fucking done”.

Told from dual POV’S between past and present with rivalry families, this was the story of Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable ’s tumultuous relationship and a family rivalry that was put into place before either one of them were born. 10 years ago on one of the worst days of his life, Lincoln’s life was forever changed when he met a dark haired, blue eyed beauty one night. Unbeknownst to them, that night was the start of a domino effect that's going take years to undo.

I know I’m being extremely vague for this review but if you’ve read any of this author's work, then you know there is no other way to go about it. You really have to go in blind and just experience everything for yourself because in my opinion, it’s better when you do. What I will say is that I loved these characters(most of them) And the way they were portrayed. Lincoln and Whitney were electric together and neither time or distance diminished their passion and I loved feeling that.

With a wtf cliffhanger, family betrayal, power and greed, Rich as Sin is a guaranteed sexy indulgence that's going to leave you wanting more.

More often than not, you come across a book that will shatter you, break you to pieces, will give you heartwarming feels or screw you that you just want to throw your reader and cuss the author. Reading Richer than Sin had my mind screwed over that cliffy ending. For all of those holy, I am more than aware that it’s a cliffy but I was nowhere prepared for how it ended. I was seconds away from cussing Meghan March and throwing away my reader. It was a mind fuck of its own and it wasn’t even a dark book which I usually associated it with. But Gahd, it made me look forward to the next book even more.
Meghan March has been my unicorn author for years. With her penchant of writing a journey that for sure will be embedded in your system, she has this ability to make you addicted to her works. I thought for a while I am just obsessed with her anti-heroes, but regardless, this book – the first of her upcoming trilogy made me more than obsessed. It was like a drug running through my veins and I can’t get enough of it. Start to finish was purely a sin so addicting.
Lincoln and Whitney's journey is UNPUTDOWNABLE. Cover alone sold me out what with me drooling over it. Add up a promising blurb and I was in heaven. I literally devour the book like there's no tomorrow. The angst! Goodness! Coupled it with lust and my reader was burning. I too was even burning with desire so I inhaled and breathed it. Forget that I need to wake up early, I had no care in the world. My only goal was I need to know what's bound to happen next so I kept on flipping the pages and savoring it. And, it was really good. The character portrayal was easy to connect with. I had no hard time liking and loving them as always the case with Meghan March's MC's. The forbidden vibe even heightened my desire to finish the book up even in the wee hours, because seriously it was that good.
Overall, I will highly recommend this book. If you are up with fast paced journey with roller coaster twists and turns, then this book is for you. It's an

Kudos, Meghan March!

Guilty until proven innocent.

That’s the way the world works, right?

I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.

The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.

If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect.

To keep.

To cherish.

I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her.

I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option.

No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever
