5.0 "HILARIOUSLY WITTY SPORTS ROMCOM" STARS!!!
Oh. My. God!!! I love this book to death!!! Seriously??I could read it over and over without getting bored. It is a hilariously witty sports romance comedy ever!!! Really "No end" man.. No end... Anything by Minor is my first Kate Stewart book and definitely not my last. It's official I'm gonna stalk Kate pronto!That cover!!! *Hot and because I am a book cover whore, it immediately grabbed my attention. You cannot blame me!!! Look at that cover with Rafe in nothing but her baseball mitt covering his ....*wink *wink... Oh! wow I would love to sneak what's behind that mitts! Just a HOMERUN!!!! *Faints Rafe and Alice story is definitely one in which you'll get to be captivated and invested the more you keep on reading and turning the pages. That being said, it clearly shows how great Kate's writing ability is to write a light hearted romcom that not just only funny and hilarious but will draw and catch your attention as the story progresses. Oh, Alice, this woman could be the death of me! You know I keep on talking about the hero in my reviews but Alice is different. I guess I had just my girl crush. I love her to death!!! She's not just your simple woman who needs saving and all. She's your nerdy flight instructor with an impressive flight log. See??How cool of a heroine is that? And there's more...she googled anything and everything under the sun. Well she's just a google princess and her googling moments and trivia's and her "did you know" scenes are effing great. You'll not only get to laugh at her antics but you'll definitely learn form it. She's so honest and will tell you straight to your face whatever she wants to say even if in effect it will get to embarrass her. That's how she is that made want her to bottle up and keep her. However, she's a loner but she proudly do whatever she wants without depending on someone else. She may have a baggage but I will not give any specifics. It's for you to read. I tell you.. she's just sooooo different! Well, Rafe, now he's another story. A baseball player in the minor that dreams to be in the major that falls to our nerdy pilot. He may be any ladie's man and his first love is baseball but the moment he fall for Alice. Just wow!!! He's so loyal and any woman would be dreamy of him. I was swooning the entire time I was reading the book. He's a great lead in the story, As a hero he's superb but I don't know, for the first time I have nothing to talk to the hero because it clearly is Alice show and Rafe just blended it with her so well. It was so fun reading this book and I couldn't remember a point where I questioned or raise my eyebrow because it was so FLAT OUT GOOD and an ENJOYABLE READ. Their journey from the start until their love story blooms is a heart warming read. So sweet..so sexy.. so damn romantic! My heart swelled for this two an I had butterflies in my tummy as if I am a teenager woed by a crush. Their banters and conversations is just adorable, hilarious and funny. I was laughing literally people think I am crazy. Other's even shush me. But they just didn't know that it's so difficult to hide your laugh with the kind of book I was reading. Kate covered it all. From the leads life to the secondary one's, it was just written excellently. This is the kind of book that will leave full of happiness... full of hope..and full of love. It's just awesome and fantastic. It's magical! I highly recommend it!  |
