That’s how life is sometimes, I suppose. Right person, wrong time.
I do not know where to start with my review. To begin with, I read this book blind. Sure I read the blurb and to be honest it's what caught me and I did not expect what awaits me as I go on with my reading.
Everett by Cee Smith is one of those books that left me stunned and in awe and keeps me on the edge. The story started erotic, blunt and I did not expect it because man I sure read the blurb but I really did not thought to read something so damn hot that made me even pause and re read the first two chapters. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but definitely something not the usual I read as a start of a story. I was confused in a good way and it made me even more curious and kept me turning the pages. To tell you, the book is deliciously erotic! Hands down to that and sure enough I missed reading some kinks in the book. It was not overly, in fact as I read and savor words after words even without the act of doing the hot scenes yet you will feel in yourself the hotness that lies beneath it. It was not an insta-love romance but the sexual tension and the chemistry between the leads is undeniable and that's what made the book more interesting. To read both the growth of the characters and finally read how their feelings towards each other bloom. And that's what you need to find out. ;)
To top it all the book is really good and please Cee does this book have another installment? Because man I really don't think I'm through with Everett and Indigo yet and I feel like I needed more of them and to quote I'll use your lines from the book,
- I continued to call back the feelings he evoked, oftentimes feeling the ache of longing that stirred in my belly. The slow simmer of need hollowed through my womb leaving a dull throb that could only be relieved with the brush of my fingers. Even after I brought myself to sudden release, the phantom pain would return.
Indeed, One touch would never be enough!A must read!
