I was praying to the book gods that this book would give me the answers that I was craving and a sense of peace but do you know what I got instead?? High anxiety and even more questions!!!
This is book two in the Difference Trilogy and if you’ve read the first one, then you know that it ended on a wtf cliffhanger. This story picks up where it was left off and we’re seeing the everyday dynamics between Bowen and Remi. These two have been through hell and are fighting for a future that they know will be worth every heartbreak and setback that they've endured. But when more secrets come to light, the past won't be the only problem that they will have to face.
I’m not sure why I keep underestimating this author when it comes to the shock value that she puts in her work, but I do. I had a feeling that something was about to happen and I kept ignoring it because the theory that I had, there was just no freakin way she would go there. Guess what? she fucking did!!! Even though I saw it coming, there was still this sense of disbelief and shock and you’re wondering “what now”????
I know I won't be the only one waiting on pins and needles for the final installment in this twisted love journey. Can Remi and Bowie survive the secrets and betrayals? Only time will tell along with Six bottles of wine and a therapist.
