Damn you Kate Stewart! This is not to offend you or disrespect you but FUCK YOU for blowing my mind and making me cry when I don't even know if I'm supposed to. This is my way of gratitude to you for penning this MASTERPIECE!This is also my way of getting all these emotions out of my system after reading FLOCK. FUCK YOU because, after all these years, you never and I mean never cease to amaze me. Yes, me swearing you just means I am more than in awe. You rock my world. And that ending more than rock my core. You had me there I tell you. You had me there even MORE, so much more that I am seconds away from begging and offering you both my arms so I can now read Exodus! Damn woman, you are BRILLIANT! I really give you that!
Honestly, I am still in Flock bubble. I just can't stop thinking about what I just read. even writing my review seemed to be just so hard because aside from nursing my book hangover, no matter how many words I will write, it will still be understated. FLOCK was so much more than I thought it would be. Where I usually write my reviews describing the characters and Atleast giving glimpses on what to expect, I will skip that in my review for now. Admittedly, I am short for words on how to navigate that part in my review. I just want you to read this book blind. I did and I just trusted what Kate delivered. Fucking Kate more than did that to me. When she said, Get ready for a sinfully 𝐇𝐎𝐓, 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐓𝐘, 𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋, and 𝐓𝗪𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 love story filled with suspense, a little action, and 𝐀𝐋𝐋. 𝐎𝐅. 𝐓𝐇𝐄. 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐒, definitely get ready because even when you do, you'll still be surprised as to what extent she'll deliver it to you.
So how do I even end this rant because I don't think this is a review. I'll end this by saying YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK STAT! Join us in this all consuming journey that had us in shambles. It's intensity will rock you through the core.
To Kate, you go girl! Another masterpiece you just gave us! Start to finish, you had me guessing and thinking where you would lead us. From a vague blurb to a complex journey and complex characters that had embedded my heart and mind, I am still reeling with all the feels with wet knickers! Kudos to you!
Now, I am off to torturing myself even morewaiting for EXODUS and obsessing over that ending!
